To receive an accurate quote for your cookie order, submit an order request using the link at the top of the page.
Is there a minimum order requirement?
Yes. I require a minimum order of two dozen cookies.
How far in advance do I need to order?
A two-week notice is appreciated. I require a minimum of 7 days' notice for any order. This assures proper planning and attention to detail are given to your cookies. Orders accepted less than 7 days in advance are subject to a Rush Fee of $15.00. Anything less than 3 days is not a possibility as each cookie requires drying time before it can be safely packaged.
How do I place an order?
Complete the Order Request Form using the "Order" link located at the top of the page. I will respond within 1-2 days. Your order will be placed once the details are finalized and payment in full is received.
Am I limited to the designs on your website?
No. I have over 500 cookie cutters. :) If I don't have what you need I can order a specific cookie cutter. I'd love to create custom cookies for your event. Colors and designs can be customized to coordinate with your theme, invitation, decorations, etc.
How do I pay? What methods of payment do you accept?
Advance payment in full is required via Zelle, Venmo or PayPal. You DO NOT need a PayPal account. When you receive the link to your invoice, select "pay with credit/debit" and checkout as a guest. Please note paying via PayPal will have an added service charge - Zelle and Venmo are free.
Where and when do I pick up my order?
All orders are picked up from my home in Gunter. I can arrange a meet up in Allen if that's more convenient. Please adhere to the pick-up time you requested and that I confirmed on your invoice. I do not have retail hours. I have a family and a full-time job in addition to my cookie business. Therefore, I cannot ensure someone will be home when a client drops by earlier or later than the established pick up time. If you are running late or need to change your pick up time, please text me to make other arrangements. My address and contact information can be found on your invoice and also on this website under the "Order" tab.
What if I need to cancel or change my order?
In the event that you need to cancel your order, a full refund will be given 3 weeks or more from your scheduled date. Within 2 - 3 weeks from your event, you will receive a 50% refund of your order total. No refunds will be given 2 weeks or less from the date of your event. In the case of an emergency and I am unable to fill the order, I will refund your payment 100%. Due to other orders that I have booked and to allow enough time to properly plan your order, I ask that no changes be made to your order within a week of when it is due.
Can you ship your cookies? How about delivery?
Sweet Caroline's Cookies for a Cause operates under the Texas Cottage Food Law which prohibits shipping. At this time, I do not offer delivery. Once your order is picked up, Sweet Caroline's Cookies is no longer liable for any damage caused to the cookies by improper handling or storage.
How long will the cookies stay fresh? Do I need to refrigerate them?
Your cookies will remain fresh for about a week as long as they are stored in a cool, dry environment and remain sealed in an air tight container. Refrigeration is not necessary nor recommended.
Do you offer discounts on large orders?
I am unable to offer discounts on large orders. More cookies don't equal less work. Each cookie order is made over a minimum of three days.
One day for mixing, cutting, and baking; one day for decorating; and the third day for detail work and dry time. Plus, additional time may be needed for designing and/or special packaging.
Do you offer allergen/gluten/soy/dairy free cookies?
No, I am unable to produce a cookie with allergy restrictions. My cookies contain eggs, butter, flour, sugar and flavorings (including almond extract). As a home baker, I store nuts in my home.
Sweet Caroline's Cookies is a home-based business and operates under the Texas Cottage Food Law.
